Return policy

You as a customer have a 14-day return policy when you shop at Americandreams. The return policy expires 14 days after the receival-date of your package - or get the last package, if we have an agreement that involves more than one item ordered at the same time, and that will be shipped individually.

You cannot change your mind and deny to receive the package without giving us clear information about this first.

 

How do I return my package?

Leave the invoice in the package.

If you want to exchange to another item, you only have to write which item and size you want, on the invoice.

Missing original packaging can leave your item with less value, so to be sure that you get all your money refunded, we recommend that it is returned in its original packaging.

 

The condition of your item when you return it:

You are responsible for any harm that can change the value of the item. This can be from the handling other than what could be necessary to establish the nature of the item, its quality and the way it works. In other words, you can try the item in the same way that you would try it on in a store, you just cannot use it.

If the item is worn more than this, we will consider it as used, which will mean that if you want to return your item, you will only get a part or none of your money in return, depending on the value of the item.

 

Refund

If you want to return your item, you will get a refund. If the value of the item had decreased, which you are responsible for, this will be deducted from the return money.

If you use your return policy, we will refund all payments without extra delays, and in all circumstances at the latest of 14 days from the date we receive a note about your choice about returning your item. We will do this refund with the same payment method used in the original transaction, unless you have said otherwise. We can keep the refund until we receive the package, unless you have showed documentation for your return.

 

How do I exchange an item?

You can exchange your item to another item, size or colour. You will have to pay for the return yourself, postage for the new item will be paid for by Americandreams. It is your own responsibility that the item is returned to us and received at out return-address.

If you look in the web-shop, you can see if the item you want is in stock, then you can send an e-mail to info@americandreams.dk with the subject Exchange + your invoice number.

Write which item you want to exchange yours for, so that we can put it aside for you.

 

Shipping time

On every item you will see if it is in stock or not. If it is on stock it will be sent within 2-3 working days. If you ordered an item that is not in stock, you will receive a shipping-message over e-mail.

 

Payment method

You can safely pay with card at Americandreams. We accept all normal cards as Visa and MasterCard. This will then be handled by ePay and NETS. Americandreams will therefore never have any access to your card details. You will receive an order confirmation via e-mail when your order is completed.

 

I want to make a claim

Sale of Goods Act shortage rules may apply to purchases. When you shop at us as a consumer you will get 24 months of warranty. This will mean then you can get your item fixed, exchanged, a full refund or an amount of your money refunded, depending on the situation. It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect is not caused by misuse of the product or other injurious behaviour.

You must make the complaint within "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect. If you let us know within two months after the defect is discovered, the complaint will always be okay.

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be returned in protected packaging, and remember to get a receipt for the shipment, so that we can reimburse your shipping costs.

Send us an email at info@americandreams.dk defect of your item as detailed as possible, and as soon as you discover it.

 

Consequences for unclaimed items

For unclaimed items the customer will be charged the costs for the return, which applies to the costs we normally have for a return.
